About The Position

FuntoNetwork is seeking a Systems Integration and Data Engineer for an upcoming project opportunity: IT Sourcing Event Template. This role involves executing the Systems Integration and Data Engineer scope, which includes defining interfaces, data mappings, migration, reconciliation, identity integration, error handling, and technical acceptance evidence. The engineer will confirm existing conditions, stakeholder needs, governing criteria, interfaces, constraints, and acceptance requirements. They will produce necessary calculations, architecture or design basis, drawings, specifications, schedules, estimates, and technical decision records. Additionally, the role requires resolving interdisciplinary reviews, constructability or implementation comments, RFIs, substitutions, and approved design changes. Support for implementation testing and commissioning, reconciling final comments, and delivering approved record documents and technical handoff materials are also key responsibilities. The engineer will trace assigned work to the RFP scope, requirement or RTM row, deliverable, dependency, acceptance criterion, schedule milestone, and supporting evidence. They will review official solicitation materials and addenda, document assumptions, open items, exclusions, risks, and required client decisions. Preparation of role-specific technical inputs, work products, estimates, implementation details, quality records, and proposal or post-award delivery evidence is expected. Coordination with project management, business analysis, technical, field, quality, compliance, training, and operations workstreams is crucial. Maintaining status, issue, decision, change, and evidence records, and escalating blockers before they affect submission or delivery readiness are also part of the role.

Requirements

Demonstrated experience performing Systems Integration and Data Engineer responsibilities in public-sector, regulated, enterprise, or comparable environments.
Ability to produce complete, reviewable work products tied to requirements and acceptance criteria.
Strong documentation, stakeholder coordination, risk awareness, confidentiality, and deadline discipline.
Relevant licenses, certifications, clearances, insurance, or local delivery capacity when required by the solicitation.

Responsibilities

Define interfaces, data mappings, migration, reconciliation, identity integration, error handling, and technical acceptance evidence.
