About The Position

FuntoNetwork is seeking an Identity, Security and Integration Engineer for an upcoming project opportunity: 05626P0001 - Paid Detail Application and Software Platform. The New York City Police Department (NYPD) seeks an existing, scalable electronic platform and application for scheduling Paid Detail assignments and supporting assignment, billing, and reporting workflows. This role will define secure identity, data-exchange, audit, and integration controls for the Paid Detail ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Design authentication, authorization, least privilege, privileged administration, audit logging, encryption, secrets, and security-monitoring patterns.
• Plan interfaces for personnel eligibility, participating clients, scheduling, notifications, billing/finance, reporting, and downstream records.
• Prepare interface specifications, data mappings, reconciliation controls, test strategy, failure handling, and cutover safeguards.
• Review the role scope, project background, supporting materials, deadline, and client requirements that relate to your assigned work.
• Provide only the role-specific materials requested by FuntoNetwork, such as your resume, cover letter, work samples, technical notes, estimates, or availability.
• Coordinate with FuntoNetwork on your assigned consultant role and related technical work only.
• Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders as needed.
• Support quality control, status updates, and readiness for your assigned portion of the work.
