About The Position

We are seeking passionate and skilled technical professionals to directly support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) with its critical mission. This program is on the front lines, shaping the systems that protect us from advanced threats. Your work will directly influence the entire lifecycle of our nation's most advanced capabilities, from the initial design to becoming fully operational. Lead a Digital Transformation: Champion the adoption of MBSE methodologies and tools, helping to shape our digital engineering transformation and guiding our teams toward a fully integrated digital environment. Full System Lifecycle: Drive the development of critical missile defense capabilities through every phase: from initial studies, analysis, and prototyping to detailed system architecture, development, and fielding. Cutting-Edge Technology: Work on architecting and modeling enterprise-level services, advanced Mission Suites, and state-of-the-art operations centers using modern digital engineering practices. End-to-End RDT&E (Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation) Impact: Your systems thinking and expertise is needed to support the integration of various areas such as core infrastructure, networks, cybersecurity, logistics and planning, and ultimately ensuring mission success through system operations. Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in developing and managing system models using SysML.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard MBSE tools (e.g., Cameo, Rhapsody) and requirements management platforms (e.g., DOORS Next Gen).
  • A deep understanding of MBSE frameworks and methodologies, with the ability to apply them to complex aerospace or defense systems.
  • Ability to think strategically and lead initiatives to transition an organization from traditional engineering to a fully integrated MBSE and Digital Engineering environment.
  • Proven experience driving the full systems engineering process, including active stakeholder engagement, comprehensive requirements development and management, system design, and Verification & Validation (V&V).
  • A mission-first mindset with a demonstrated passion for your work and a commitment to contributing to national security.
  • Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills, with a proven strength in solving complex problems.
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to evolving priorities and short deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
  • Capable of obtaining and maintaining a DoW Secret Security Clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Active INCOSE certification (ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP) is highly desired.
