About The Position

This role combines systems engineering and acquisition logistics expertise to develop and deploy next-generation Environmental Monitoring (EM) capabilities for military warfighters. The specialist will be responsible for system integration plans for space and ground systems, leading integration activities at various levels (system of systems, system, segment, and element). This includes researching new requirements, technologies, and threats, and applying innovative integration methodologies to deliver warfighter capabilities. The role also involves assisting clients with evaluating, redesigning, and authoring system life cycle and sustainment policies, processes, and documents, ensuring compliance with DoD guidance like DoDI 5000.2. Collaboration with a cross-functional team of data analysts, financial managers, systems engineers, and logisticians is key. The position offers autonomy and the opportunity to analyze cutting-edge policy and process documents for defense sustainment programs, contributing to the future of remote sensing in the military.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience with space-based program integration, systems engineering, and logistics planning of Major Defense Acquisition Programs (MDAPs)
  • Experience with DoD acquisition program management, acquisition planning, sustainment infrastructure, and organizational planning
  • Experience with subsystem hardware or software alignment
  • Experience with system integration risk mitigation
  • Experience with system integration test analysis
  • Experience with configuration change control
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in STEM
