About The Position

The Systems Engineer will partner with an integrated team of staff and contractor targeting analysts to develop mission-focused projects for the Sponsor. The role supports a mission impact-focused office by coordinating and managing technical projects across technical data analysis, information technology security research, data integration, software evaluation, and graphical visualization using the Sponsor’s enterprise IT systems. Projects span the financial industry, telecommunications, media, and energy sectors.

The Engineer will extract and fuse network, computer, and mobile data from multiple Sponsor data sources to support operational planning. The role also evaluates and integrates technical and financial data, identifies trends, prepares briefings, proposals, and reports, leverages financial technology and platforms to create tailored analytic reports, and uses information technology security research to identify projects in coordination with Cyber Security Project Managers. Applicants must have an active Poly clearance; applicants without one will not be considered.

Requirements

• Active Poly clearance.
• Demonstrated experience with technical data exploitation and analysis of all-source data sets.
• Demonstrated experience with computer systems, networking, and mobile data set exploitation.
• Demonstrated experience using Sponsor data sets to develop technical analysis and provide technical vulnerability assessments for networks.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with cryptocurrency technologies and financial transaction processes.
• Experience providing data analysis using scripting and data analysis tools such as Python or Perl, or general database experience.
• Experience working with internal and external financial offices.
• Experience supporting technical operations development and cyber projects.
• Experience communicating information to technical and non-technical personnel verbally and through presentations.
• Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) certification.
• Certified Cryptocurrency Investigator (CCI) certification from Blockchain Intelligence Group.

Responsibilities
