About The Position

ITC is a Woman Owned Small Business delivering exceptional consultation to the U.S. Government in Systems/Software Engineering, Cybersecurity Solutions, Mission Operations/INTEL Analysis, and Management Services in order to enable our customers to solve the most challenging problems. With continued growth comes opportunity, and we are currently searching for a Top-Secret SCI with polygraph-cleared Mid- level Systems Engineer. Analyzes user’s requirements, concept of operations documents, and high level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications. Analyzes system requirements and leads design and development activities. Guides users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies. Provides technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology. Incorporates new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations. Develops technical documentation. Develops system Architecture and system design documentation. Guides system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans. Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts. Ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility. Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.

Requirements

  • TS/SCI with FS Polygraph
  • 14 years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
  • Previous SA or SE background exp.
  • Exp. Building & maintaining Linux Systems
  • System Maintenance experience which includes IAVA’s.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience applying system engineering methodologies and principles to conduct process modernization projects.
  • Familiar with performing activity and data modeling, developing modern business methods, identifying best practices, and creating and assessing performance management.
  • Experienced with executing as key coordinator between multiple project teams to ensure enterprise-wide integration of reengineering efforts.
  • Ability to document and track requirements and assist in driving them to completion.

  • Researching, creating solutions to close IAVA’s and applying fixes to the systems in a timely manner.

  • Ability to define, implement and maintain processes and procedures to meet project objectives.
  • Experienced with analyzing and identifying opportunities for process improvements.
  • Experienced with developing initiatives for continuous process improvements.
  • Ability to work with the customer and developers in integration of applications.
  • Ability to use best practices to carry out system engineering, reengineering, process measurements and change management activities.
  • Experience working with stakeholders to identify business requirements, processes, and risks.
