About The Position

PSI is seeking a knowledgeable, proactive, and self-motivated Systems Engineer to join its global Systems Development team. The team works on in-house projects that include web and desktop applications, ERP and BPM systems, document management systems, and AI initiatives.

The role provides technical support for enterprise applications, troubleshoots application issues, and participates in testing and implementation activities to support smooth business operations. Responsibilities also include supporting and installing software and information systems, training users, monitoring software updates, maintaining validation status for applicable systems, supporting client-provided IT equipment, and conducting technical audits.

Requirements

• University or college degree with a Computer Science or IT specialty.
• Solid technical background.
• Experience supporting business applications, software platforms, or enterprise systems.
• Experience creating SQL queries.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability and desire to work in a service-oriented and customer-focused environment.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in systems analysis.
• Experience with Jira Service Desk and Confluence or similar products.
• Experience in systems development and systems validation.
• Background in testing, including preparing test cases and executing test scripts.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for off-the-shelf software packages.
• Install Tier 3 and certain Tier 4 information systems and conduct user training.
• Install and support specialized systems, such as special warehouse systems.
• Monitor company software updates and releases and recommend migrations when necessary.
• Track new software releases that may be of interest to the company and recommend purchases.
• Update validation status for information systems subject to CFR 21 Part 11.
• Study project-specific IT equipment provided by company clients, conduct required user training, and provide ongoing equipment support.
• Conduct regular technical audits in company departments to check compliance with PSI standards for specialized equipment and Tier 3–4 systems.
• Troubleshoot application issues and participate in testing and implementation activities.
