About The Position

BAE Systems is seeking a systems engineer with experience in requirements identification and IBM Rational DOORS for an exciting opportunity to support the Air Force's acquisition of the next generation Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM), the LGM-35A Sentinel system of systems. This systems engineer will assist the United States Air Force (USAF) in managing its internal program requirements for Sentinel program, analyzing the Prime contractor’s DOORS data modules, analyzing the Prime contractor's CAMEO/SysML models, and preparing reports for System Qualification. The candidate will interface with the Prime Contractor to ensure it meets the U.S. Government’s intent with respect to requirements products and artifacts. The candidate will also consult regularly with the USAF's system program office (SPO) concerning external stakeholder needs and various requirements-related topics. This unique position will allow the candidate to view all requirements efforts for the Sentinel weapon system and will provide great growth potential. Requirements

  • B.S. in an Engineering or STEM field.
  • Proactive person with a positive attitude and “team player” mentality.
  • Highly organized with acute attention to detail and willingness to take ownership.
  • Possess a willingness to learn while also sharing your current knowledge/skills.
  • Proactively provides ideas/thought.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience with DOORS.

Nice To Haves

  • Direct experience with the Sentinel or MMIII weapon systems.
  • Experience with Dassault’s Cameo or other MBSE tools (Rhapsody, etc.).
  • Possesses an Active DoD Secret or Top Secret clearance.
  • Master's Degree in an engineering or STEM field.
