About The Position
As a Systems Engineer at Lam, you will design complex frameworks, systems, or products for wafer fabrication equipment. You will define system specifications, requirements, parameters, and compatibility to integrate hardware, software, and firmware into a cohesive system. You will identify, analyze, and resolve system design weaknesses, using multi-layered technical expertise to help shape the next generation of Lam initiatives. This position is part of the Global Products Group, which designs and engineers Lam's etch and deposition products and develops solutions for challenges in the semiconductor industry. Lam offers work-location models based on role needs, including hybrid On-site Flex and Virtual Flex arrangements. The stated salary range applies to applicants residing or working onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area; salary offers depend on factors such as location, level, education, training, skills, experience, and internal comparisons.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree; or 6 years with a master's degree; or 3 years with a Ph.D.; or equivalent experience.
