About The Position

As the Systems Engineer - Skunk Works, you will be responsible for supporting the team that integrates and validates mission-system functions across lab, flying-test-bed, and flight-test environments. This role requires an active Secret clearance to start and involves up to 10-20% travel. The position is located in Palmdale, CA.

Requirements

• MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN
• Active Secret clearance required to start.
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline
• Experience with Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test background
• Experience with System Development Life Cycle execution and best practices on software and hardware-based systems
• Experience in Agile methodologies

Nice To Haves

• Experience in software life cycle logistics, including knowledge of build paradigms, merge request processes, and dependency/artifact management
• Experience in creating release documents, and low-to-high transfer logistics
• Experience with automation and CI/CD environments, including automation tools, Gitlab/Bamboo runners, and YAML
• Experience with CAMEO

Responsibilities

• Develop test requirements and detailed procedures based on system specifications.
• Execute integration and test activities in laboratory settings and evaluate system performance on flying test-beds.
• Support mission-system flight-test evaluations and report results to stakeholders.
• Interface with engineers, pilots, and program leadership using strong communication skills.
• Apply expertise in modern software-intensive mission-system architectures and understand military aircraft functionality.
