About The Position

You will be the Systems Engineer - Level 2 for the Configuration Management (CM) Team, responsible for supporting Aeronautics Engineering and Technology initiatives across Air Mobility & Maritime Missions. As the Systems Engineer - Level 2, you will drive disciplined configuration management practices to safeguard product integrity and enable rapid mission delivery. This role requires a collaborative, detail-oriented engineer with a strong grasp of configuration management principles, excelling at clear communication and thriving in cross-functional environments. The ideal candidate is driven to protect product integrity while accelerating mission timelines, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to quality. This position is located in Marietta, GA, and requires the selected candidate to be a U.S. Citizen and possess an active Interim Secret clearance to start. Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Systems Engineering or related STEM field
  • Systems Engineering experience
  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN
  • Possess an active Interim Secret clearance to start

Responsibilities

  • Supporting Configuration Status Accounting and maintain accurate configuration data.
  • Executing Configuration Control activities, including change evaluation, approval, and implementation.
  • Conducting Configuration Audits and IUID tracking to ensure compliance with program requirements.
  • Collaborating with internal and external customers and suppliers on CM processes and issue resolution.
  • Producing clear oral and written communications for CM documentation, reports, and stakeholder briefings
