Markon is seeking a Systems Engineer Level 2 to support mission-critical RF communication systems and infrastructure for the Fort Meade customer. This role focuses on the deployment, integration, and sustainment of mission-specific RF/FORNSAT platforms (HF/VHF/UHF) and supporting enterprise systems. Requirements

Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline plus 14 years of relevant experience.
Experience deploying and sustaining RF communication systems, including HF, VHF, and UHF platforms.
Experience working with FORNSAT and GOTS-based solutions.
Strong experience with Linux and Windows Server administration.
Experience supporting virtualized environments across cloud and on-prem infrastructures.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex system and integration issues.
Strong understanding of systems engineering lifecycle processes.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a mission-focused environment.

Responsibilities

Deploy, integrate, and sustain GOTS and mission-specific RF communication systems, including HF/VHF/UHF and FORNSAT platforms.
Provide full lifecycle systems engineering support, including requirements, design, integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment.
Architect, configure, and optimize RF and GOTS-based solutions to meet mission and security requirements.
Administer and maintain Linux and Windows Server environments, ensuring performance, availability, and compliance.
Deliver virtualization support across cloud-based and on-premises infrastructures.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and support system modernization and performance improvements.
Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions and operational excellence.
Ensure adherence to security best practices and mission requirements across all systems.
