About The Position

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a highly motivated Senior Systems Engineer to join the Echo Program Area. This role focuses on protecting space assets and involves working across the full Systems Engineer "V" lifecycle, from requirements and design to verification. Responsibilities include conops development, interface definition, integration and test, analysis, and planning. The engineer will collaborate with development teams, contractors, customers, and subject matter experts, working closely with the Product Owner, Scrum Master, and Associate Chief Engineer to support customer demos and milestone events. This position offers the opportunity to apply Systems Engineering expertise from the lowest level to full system functionality within a fast-paced team environment supporting a critical space security mission.

Requirements

  • Experience with Systems Engineering concepts with significant knowledge in at least 2 or more of the following: requirements management, test and verification, interface definition, architecture design, conops development, risk management.
  • Experience producing quality technical documentation (e.g. procedures, test documentation, training materials, design documentation).
  • Active TS security clearance to start and the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
  • US Citizenship is required.
