Northrop Grumman Defense has an opening for a Systems Engineer (level 2)/Principal Systems Engineer (level 3) to join its team in Huntsville AL in support the Sentinel Program. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force’s sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities, and associated infrastructure. The selected candidate will join our team of qualified individuals. This role will be a member of a team of system engineers who will continue to mature the interfaces products for the weapon system from Preliminary Design Review phase to a Critical Design Review and beyond. The role includes working in a Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and/or supporting the development of at least the following key interface artifacts: Interface Control Documents (ICDs) Interface Requirements & Verification Plans Interface Logical and Physical Architecture Interface Nx CAD Models Interface Mentor Capital Wiring Diagrams The successful candidate will demonstrate technical skills, organization, be an effective communicator, and problem solver who is able to develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The candidate will demonstrate a commitment to ethics and integrity, and the capability to innovate. They will have an ability to operate in a team environment and collaborate across the program as required to accomplish assigned and team taskings.
