About The Position

The Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities discipline seeks talented Systems Engineers. Our team, located in Tewksbury, MA, Andover, MA & Woburn, MA, integrates hardware and software, develops test plans and procedures, debugs and evaluates system functions and interfaces, and verifies system requirements in support of final sell-off to the customer. We put our systems together, exercise them in the lab or in the field, measure and analyze performance, and make sure our products work the first time and every time. Every day is a different set of challenges to overcome. You'll be expected to collaborate across disciplines and partner to implement solutions. In this role, you'll get to know a little bit about every aspect of the system and have a direct hand in making it all work together supporting teams of engineers engaged in integration and test efforts. You will support elements of program development, engineering testing, integration, flight-testing, production, system deployment, and/or post deployment support across the product lifecycle. This position is an onsite role in Tewksbury, MA, Andover, MA, Pelham, MA or Marlborough, MA. Test event support activity may require travel which is not expected to exceed 20%.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) obtained prior to start
  • Experience with troubleshooting technical issues in an academic or internship setting, including the use of common commercial test equipment (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, etc.)
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Ability to obtain INTERIM U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with DOORS, Rhapsody, Cameo, or other digital engineering tools.
  • Experience with model-based engineering.
  • Experience with systems software, systems hardware, systems requirements, systems integration, and/or systems test.
  • Experience in developing and managing requirements.
  • Experience developing both scripts and functions with MATLAB.

Responsibilities

  • Develop requirements and algorithms, concepts of operations, and define system interfaces.
  • Develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration, and verification documentation in both simulated and real-world environments.
  • Identify and resolve hardware, software, and system issues through detailed data analysis and debugging.
  • Collaborate across functions to drive performance improvements and resolve system issues.
  • Develop and execute models to predict system performance and support verification and validation.
  • Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems, evaluating their functionality and impact.
  • Work with and lead a multi-disciplinary team to achieve seamless integration and system functionality.
  • Develop integration documentation, execute plans, analyze data, verify requirements and effectively communicate results to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Conduct statistical and numerical analysis of radar performance data to ensure optimal system performance and verify requirements.
  • Present technical findings and solutions to leadership and customers.
  • Travel as needed (up to 20%) to support mission execution at various locations including local RTX facilities, test sites, vendor facilities, and customer locations.
