Raytheon’s Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) Surface Radars & Sensors Center is seeking a Radar Systems Engineer to join our team Systems Integration & Test Long Range Radars Department within the Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities Directorate who will support X-Band Radar technology that includes providing operational technical support to deployed radars at our Woburn, MA location. This includes supporting the analysis and reporting of radar performance and develops troubleshooting and corrective action plans for a range of issues including mechanical, electrical, microwave, software, and cyber security.

Requirements

  • Requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience with MATLAB, Python, Linux, Unix, and/or other programing languages.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Secret - Current Security Clearance
  • Active and existing security clearance required on day 1

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with radar systems and/or system integration.
  • Experience in radar systems test environments and in development of test scripts.
  • Experience with creating procedures, plans, test scripts, and maintaining configuration control documentation.
  • Experience with systems Integration, test, data analysis, and/or verification.
  • Involvement with analysis tools, hands-on root cause identification, corrective action implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, track, coordinate, and report on all sustaining engineering activities for assigned Radar(s).
  • Provide details for the integrated master schedule for radar activities which require engineering support such as Maintenance event planning with site team, Logistics, and Maintenance Planning
  • Create and update internal and external Health and Status reports for radars.
  • Work within a multi-disciplinary team to track a variety of open issues awaiting engineering input.
  • Support up to 10% domestic and international Travel.
