About The Position

Analyzing existing systems and defining, designing, and developing new system requirements. Determining system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility. Coordinating design of subsystems and integration of total system. Identifying, analyzing, and resolving program support deficiencies. Assisting in delivering presentations to management and/or the customer. This position is contingent upon award.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of demonstrated experience in systems engineering and continuous software sustainment, utilizing modern agile methodologies to ensure seamless delivery and operational stability in production environments
  • Qualified experience must encompass systems engineering activities such as architectural oversight, requirements traceability, and system integration within a secure environment, alongside continuous software sustainment tasks including operational support, proactive vulnerability management, and technical debt remediation
  • Candidates must demonstrate active utilization of agile frameworks, such as Scrum, Kanban, or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) tailored to defense software environments, and a proven ability to push software updates to live production environments with zero or near-zero downtime and minimal operational disruption
  • Minimum of two years of recent (last 5 years), demonstrated operational experience in enterprise server administration for both Linux and Windows operating systems, including the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of scalable virtualized environments (e.g., VMware vSphere, AWS, etc.)
  • Demonstrated proficiency in executing continuous monitoring and implementing rigorous DISA STIG compliance to fulfill stringent cybersecurity and Information Assurance (IA) mandates
  • To qualify, the candidate must satisfy the requirements for 'Intermediate Proficiency' for the '451 - System Administrator' role listed in the DoD 8140 Dashboard at the time of proposal and maintain eligibility for privileged/administrative system access at all times
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • U.S. Government security clearance at the Top Secret / SCI level
