About The Position

The Mission Systems Multi-Domain Assured Navigation and Timing Applications (MANTA) Systems/Hardware department is looking for a highly motivated Test Engineer/Systems Engineer, with a passion for learning, to join the Test Innovation Engineering team and focus on Special Test Equipment (STE) design, development and Integration. The successful candidate will work with internal customers, production facilities, contract manufactures and leadership as well as internal systems, software and hardware engineering development teams to develop STE products for ground applications. Our solutions keep the warfighter safe, connected and informed by providing accurate position, navigation, and timing information in contested environments. You will be working in a dynamic, results-oriented team environment with engineers that share your passion for providing cutting edge solutions to today’s military. Requirements

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
  • Must have or be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance.
  • Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation/reinstatement and must meet eligibility requirements

Responsibilities

  • Review product designs and create test solutions that maximize test coverage in the manufacturing and service environments.
  • Capture, analyze, decompose and translate requirements for production test solutions.
  • Interface and coordinate with internal systems, hardware, and software product design teams
  • Prepare and present project / technical information to peers, internal management and customers.
  • Ability to reverse engineer existing equipment (i.e. documenting something that is already built)
