About The Position

The Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities team is seeking a motivated Systems Engineer II to support the planning and execution of Flight Test Missions for Patriot programs. The ideal candidate brings practical experience in coordinating and executing system-level test activities. Requirements

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience
  • Experience with system integration, and/or system test
  • Experience with generating technical documentation, such as test plans, procedures, or technical reports
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.​ U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance​
  • DoD Clearance: Secret
  • Active and existing security clearance required on day 1

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in an integration lab, test facility, or in the field supporting integration and/or verification
  • Experience planning or executing system level test events – such as ground tests, flight tests, customer system tests
  • Experience with MATLAB or other data analysis tools

Responsibilities

  • Provide flight test mission support across planning, execution, and reporting, working autonomously on moderately complex activities.
  • Contribute to test planning and walkup events, including conducting test readiness assessments to ensure systems and processes meet mission objectives.
  • Support scenario development, simulation runs, and hardware‑in‑the‑loop runs for record, applying practical knowledge of tools and procedures to ensure high-quality test execution.
  • Coordinate with analysts and subject matter experts to ensure pre‑mission data is accurately analyzed, interpreted, and prepared for decision‑makers.
  • Perform post‑mission data analysis and develop clear, fact‑based test event reporting that informs follow-up actions and supports broader program goals.
  • Travel domestically and internationally (up to 15%) as needed to support mission execution.
