About The Position

Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full-time Early Career Systems Engineer. The position is an I&T engineer responsible for planning, executing and debriefing daily lab sessions during single-ship or multi-ship F-35A/B/C simulator test events. F-35A/B/C simulator test events include varied pilot training tasks for F-35A/B/C pilots from US DoD services as well as foreign customer military forces. I&T role includes daily work on Agile development teams, system-level requirement decomposition, test procedure authoring, and integration, system test and selloff of software supporting various F-35A/B/C simulator products. Applicants will work closely with customers. The successful candidate will must be self-motivated as some work is performed without appreciable direction, have the ability to multi-task, and possess strong organizational and communication skills. Applicants must be able to work with a diverse team of highly skilled engineers, including junior and senior engineers, customers, and other agencies. Applicants should expect to be assigned varied tasks daily for I&T of F-35A/B/C simulator capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineer, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering or related degree.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret level U.S. government security clearance once starting with Lockheed Martin.
  • Must be able to obtain a Special Access Program U.S. government security clearance within a reasonable time after starting the position.
