Join the team supporting the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Program by joining the Mission Operations Reentry Systems team as a Systems Engineer Associate Manager. We support the field centers and facilities as well as the operational readiness and safety of the Navy's Strategic Weapons Systems. Your primary leadership responsibilities of this organization include: FBM United States (US) and United Kingdom (UK) Deployed Reentry Systems including Mk4, Mk4A, and Mk5 Reentry Body Assembly (RBA) Program and Hardware Engineering, and Surveillance. In this role, you will: Provide programmatic oversight, budget management, delegation of tasks, and effective resource utilization. Give overall leadership to subordinate project leaders and other employees within the FBM Deployed Reentry organization. Travel a moderate amount (about 6 weeks per year)

Requirements

  • Experience communicating program cost, schedule, and technical status to customers and leaders at multiple organizational levels
  • Experience planning and/or implementing deployed system elements and effectively assigning and/or managing daily, weekly, and/or monthly team actions
  • Experience with export control policies/ITAR
  • Final Secret Security Clearance with ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance; US Citizenship is required

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education- Mechanical or Aerospace degree preferred
  • Current or previous CAM certification and/or experience with budget management
  • Experience with Eastern Range, Strategic Weapons Facilities, and Department of Energy
  • Experience with Reentry documentation and proofings
  • Experience with FBM Support Equipment and H-Gear
  • Knowledge of the D5 Missile System & flight testing
  • Knowledge of SPALT and NWRO Processes
  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance
  • Minimum of 2 years experience with FBM Program
