About The Position

The System Integration Engineer will help define requirements and architecture for integrating an autonomous machine system, primarily developing system integration requirements for multiple systems within autonomous machines in the Loading, Dozing & Compaction Application Team. These systems may include onboard electronic systems, processes, and people interactions. The role requires attention to detail, effective collaboration, and sound decision-making about trade-offs among time, resources, and quality. The position applies autonomous system solutions and technologies to semi- or fully autonomous systems; decomposes customer needs into system-level requirements; manages requirements and related features in DevOps; and works with Machine System teams to deliver autonomous machine features, including component selection and system integration. The engineer documents and traces requirements, serves as a subject matter expert for Surface Loading Machine Autonomous Solutions, and communicates system readiness and technical risks to stakeholders.
