About The Position

Systems Development Engineers bring together hardware and software systems design to meet complex customer system requirements. The role involves developing electronic, electro-mechanical, or systems-oriented products; conducting feasibility studies on engineering proposals; and preparing installation, operation, and maintenance specifications and instructions. The team delivers programs and products to high quality standards, on time and within budget. As an Engineer on the Systems Development Engineering team, you will implement features, improve test coverage, and contribute to reliable releases. You will write maintainable code and collaborate with peers to solve integration challenges. The organization uses AI throughout its development process, with engineers defining intent, authoring specifications, and orchestrating AI agents.

Requirements

2+ years of related experience.
Understanding of version control, branching, and code review processes.
Experience with automated testing and continuous integration practices.
Clear communication and collaboration within a scrum team.
Willingness to learn safety and observability practices.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree.
Scrum Developer or equivalent agile tooling experience.
