About The Position

We are seeking a Systems Architect with 5+ years of experience to join our team in Madison, WI. This is a 6-month contract role with the possibility of extensions. The architect will be responsible for a Windows-based application package used by various counties, requiring extensive knowledge of the target platform and software development tools. A background in accounting is considered a plus due to the nature of the application.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Systems Architecture.
• Proficiency in SQL/PL SQL.
• Experience with object-oriented programming languages using Virtual Component Library (VCL).
• Experience with MS Windows 11 Enterprise.
• Experience with Windows Server 2016+.
• Extensive knowledge of a Windows-based application target platform.
• Familiarity with software development tools.
• Experience with Oracle RDBMS.
• Experience with PL/SQL Developer.
• Experience with Oracle DB Admin Tools, Enterprise Manager.

Nice To Haves

• Delphi programming experience using RAD Studio 2007+.
• Basic Accounting knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect Windows-based applications.
• Develop and maintain SQL/PL SQL code.
• Utilize object-oriented programming languages with VCL.
• Manage and configure MS Windows 11 Enterprise and Windows Server 2016+ environments.
• Work with Oracle RDBMS, PL/SQL Developer, and Oracle DB Admin Tools, including Enterprise Manager.
