About The Position

Quanex is looking for a Systems Applications Business Analyst in St. Cloud or Mounds View, Minnesota. This role gathers business requirements, conducts needs assessments and process-mappings, and develops functional specifications and assists with technical specifications to ensure that developed information technology solutions support business objectives. The Systems Applications Business Analyst serves as a liaison between development teams and the internal/external customer or end user. This role follows an established requirements gathering process to identify requirements. The Systems Applications Business Analyst will lead business application projects and communicate requirements to the development teams using specifications, statements of work, project plans, or other forms of documentation. This role coordinates with developers, quality assurance teams, and users to test processes and ensure functionality and user acceptance. The Systems Applications Business Analyst may develop user documentation or training materials. As a high-level specialist, this role provides ongoing advanced application support to business end-users.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field
  • 8+ years of overall IT experience, including hands-on applications and systems work
  • Proven experience (4+ years) in applications roles, including Business Applications or ERP Systems analysis
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering successful IT projects
  • Deep functional knowledge of ERP systems, especially in manufacturing and/or financial modules
  • Experience with ERP configuration and optimization (NetSuite, E21, or similar systems preferred)
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing, supply chain, and inventory management processes
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer sponsorship
  • Local to Minnesota
