As the Systems and Transformation Finance Manager, you will lead Finance systems optimization and transformation initiatives that improve operational efficiency, standardize processes, and enhance the end-user experience across the organization. This role serves as a critical liaison between Finance and IT teams, supporting SAP Finance processes, driving cross-functional projects, and leading initiatives from concept through deployment and adoption.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
5+ years of experience supporting Finance systems, SAP Finance processes, or Finance transformation initiatives.
Experience working with SAP Finance modules and supporting accounting processes, including month-end close activities.
Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional projects involving Finance and IT stakeholders.
Strong understanding of business process improvement, systems implementation, and change management methodologies.
Experience gathering business requirements, supporting testing activities, and coordinating system deployments.

Nice To Haves

Experience leading Finance transformation or digital modernization initiatives within a global organization.
Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA or experience supporting ERP transformation projects.
Experience supporting financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, or accounting operations within a manufacturing or technology environment.
Familiarity with process mapping, workflow optimization, and automation tools.
Experience developing and delivering end-user training and change management programs.
Experience working with cross-functional global teams across multiple regions and time zones.
Strong business acumen with the ability to translate business needs into scalable system solutions.
Experience with data conversion, user acceptance testing (UAT), and go-live support activities.

Responsibilities

Supporting Finance end users in SAP accounting processes, including month-end close activities and troubleshooting system-related issues.
Acting as a liaison between Finance and IT teams to resolve complex SAP Finance issues and support ongoing system enhancements.
Leading Finance and cross-functional transformation initiatives related to new or enhanced system functionality, partnering with stakeholders from design through testing, data conversion, deployment, and go-live.
Reviewing existing business processes to identify opportunities for standardization, automation, and continuous improvement.
Managing the lifecycle of IT request tickets from initial business need identification through development, testing, deployment, and change management support.
Partnering with IT project managers to develop integrated business and IT project plans supporting Finance transformation initiatives.
Coordinating and overseeing project execution activities across cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and delivery.
Providing regular project status updates to leadership, proactively identifying risks, dependencies, and escalation items.
Collaborating with Finance subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop training materials and documentation for new functionalities and processes.
Supporting training delivery, user adoption, and change management activities to ensure successful implementation of new systems and processes.
Driving continuous improvement initiatives that enhance Finance operations, reporting capabilities, and system effectiveness across the organization.
