About The Position

Pride Health is hiring a Systems Analyst – Epic Professional Billing (PB) to support one of our healthcare clients. This is a 26-week remote contract opportunity with the possibility of extension. The Systems Analyst is responsible for developing, testing, maintaining, implementing, and supporting clinical and business applications. This role works closely with internal teams to deploy and maintain IT solutions, troubleshoot application issues, perform upgrades, and ensure system performance while following healthcare technology standards and best practices.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 3 years of direct Systems Analyst experience.
  • Epic Professional Billing (PB) Certification at the time of submission.
  • Hands-on experience supporting Epic PB applications.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Experience working in a hospital or healthcare environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Must provide your own laptop, headset, and phone for remote work.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, or related field.
  • Additional Information Technology certifications.
  • Experience implementing, supporting, and maintaining enterprise healthcare applications.

Responsibilities

  • Support, maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade Epic Professional Billing (PB) applications.
  • Participate in application implementations, installations, and system enhancements.
  • Modify applications to meet business and user requirements.
  • Develop and maintain reports for business and clinical operations.
  • Diagnose and resolve application and technology-related issues.
  • Perform quality assurance testing before application releases.
  • Monitor system performance and perform routine maintenance.
  • Collaborate with internal customers and IT teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Document system changes, procedures, and technical activities.
  • Stay current with vendor updates, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
  • Participate in application upgrades and ongoing system improvements.
  • Manage assigned work independently while contributing to larger project teams.
