About The Position

The Data Courier Administrator and Environment Analyst is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of Epic EHR environments, ensuring system stability, reliability, and readiness across production and non-production platforms. This role oversees build migrations through Data Courier, coordinates release activities, and promotes strong governance practices that support high-quality clinical and operational workflows. Administers Data Courier and Content Management processes, supporting the efficient migration of Epic build and configuration changes across production and non-production environments. Working closely with application analysts, technical teams, and operational leaders, the Environment Analyst helps deliver seamless upgrades, new functionality, and ongoing system enhancements. By maintaining a stable and efficient Epic ecosystem, this position enables clinicians and staff to access the tools they need to provide safe, effective, and exceptional patient care.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience.
  • 5-7 years of relevant IIS, clinical experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Epic Certification in one or more Epic modules.
  • Experience supporting Epic applications, environments, and Data Courier migrations within a healthcare organization.
  • Knowledge of change control, testing methodologies, and release management practices for enterprise healthcare systems.
  • Familiarity with Epic technical infrastructure and the ability to partner effectively with technical teams to support system stability and performance.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in systems integration, data management, healthcare IT, and workflow automation.
  • Knowledge of system architecture, database design, and project management in a healthcare setting.
  • IIS experience should include working with electronic health record (EHR) systems, system optimization, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring seamless interoperability across platforms.
  • The ability to analyze and configure complex systems to meet user needs is critical.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to translate user needs into system functionality, and a collaborative mindset to work across interdisciplinary teams.
  • Experience with process mapping, workflow redesign, and data analysis.
  • Proven experience in healthcare operations, including a solid understanding of the day-to-day functions of clinical, administrative, or IT departments.
  • Demonstrate experience working in environments where technology and operations intersect.
  • The ability to use operational insights to inform system design and workflow optimization.
  • Capable of working autonomously to solve problems, while also being an active contributor in cross-functional teams involving clinical staff, IT professionals, and business leaders.
  • Able to lead discussions, build consensus, and foster teamwork in interdisciplinary settings.
  • Skilled at diagnosing and resolving complex technical and workflow-related issues.
  • Adept at interpreting clinical or business needs and translating them into efficient and practical system solutions that support healthcare delivery and operational goals.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare operations, with the ability to connect healthcare business needs with technology.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of healthcare workflows, including patient care processes, regulatory compliance, and data integrity, to optimize system performance.

  • Data Courier Mover badge or Data Courier Administration certification desired.
