We are seeking a Systems Analyst 3 / Data Engineer with 8+ years of experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise data integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Informatica PowerCenter, Oracle SQL/PLSQL, ETL workflows, Snowflake, data ingestion, source-to-target mapping, data quality, performance optimization, and production support.

Requirements

8+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or Systems Analyst designing, developing, and supporting enterprise data integration solutions.
8+ years of hands-on experience developing and maintaining ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter.
8+ years of experience working with Informatica mappings, sessions, workflows, and reusable transformations.
8+ years of experience ingesting data from multiple heterogeneous source systems into Oracle databases.
8+ years of strong experience with Oracle SQL/PLSQL, including stored procedures, packages, and performance tuning of ETL-related queries.
8+ years of experience with Snowflake, including data loading, schema design, and query performance optimization.
8+ years of experience with Informatica PowerCenter / Informatica Cloud Data Integration for cloud-based ETL/ELT development.
8+ years of experience gathering data requirements, performing source-to-target mapping, and documenting data flow and design specifications.
8+ years of experience troubleshooting and resolving data quality issues, job failures, and performance bottlenecks in production ETL pipelines.
8+ years of experience with job scheduling/orchestration tools such as Control-M, Autosys, or Informatica Scheduler.

Nice To Haves

3+ years of experience with SAP Business Objects Universe design and/or maintenance.
3+ years of experience working in a state government or large enterprise IT environment.
Experience working within formal SDLC and change management processes.

Responsibilities

Understand business objectives and problems and identify alternative solutions.
Analyze user requirements, procedures, and business processes to automate processing or improve existing computer systems.
Work with business and technical stakeholders to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and define input and output requirements.
Gather and document data requirements, source-to-target mappings, data flows, and design specifications.
Design, develop, maintain, and support ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter.
Develop and maintain Informatica mappings, sessions, workflows, and reusable transformations.
Ingest data from heterogeneous source systems, including flat files, APIs, relational databases, and mainframe extracts.
Develop and optimize Oracle SQL/PLSQL, including stored procedures and packages.
Troubleshoot data quality issues, ETL job failures, and performance bottlenecks in production environments.
Support batch data loads using job scheduling and orchestration tools.
Evaluate system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine feasibility of requested changes.
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders within structured SDLC and change management processes.
