About The Position
Ampcus Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Systems Analyst 3 to join their team. This role will focus on PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 Payroll (HR/PY) within the Texas CAPPS ERP Statewide payroll operations, requiring significant functional leadership and technical capability. The position involves supporting statewide payroll operations and providing support to numerous Texas state agencies.
Requirements
- 15+ years of State of Texas policy knowledge
- 15+ years of federal labor law knowledge
- 15+ years of PeopleSoft configuration experience
- 15+ years of technical experience with: Application Designer, Integration Broker, SQR, SQL, BI Publisher, SAP Business Objects
- 15+ years of ERP security knowledge including: NIST standards, Multi-tenancy environments
- 10+ years supporting PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 CAPPS HR/Payroll
- 10+ years supporting 30+ Texas state agencies
- 10+ years of CAPPS production support
- 10+ years of Tier-2 support experience
- 10+ years handling Major Incident Management (P1/P2)
- 10+ years of executive-level presentations
- 10+ years of Disaster Recovery participation
- Extensive experience with Payroll processing (On-cycle, Off-cycle, Reversals/Cancellations, Return Monies processing, Tax updates, W-2 processing, W-3 filing support, 941 reconciliations, Garnishments, Commitment Accounting)
- Extensive experience with PeopleSoft Tools: PS Query, AWE (Approval Workflow Engine), PUM, Change Assistant, Fluid UI, Elasticsearch, Integration Broker, Page Configurator, Event Mapping, Drop Zones, Page Composer
- Extensive experience with Technical Support: SQL troubleshooting, Data synchronization, Batch job monitoring, RMJ (Run My Jobs), Interface support, Web services, REST/SOAP integrations
- Extensive experience with Statewide Operations: Fiscal Year End processing, Calendar Year End processing, Legislative changes, Federal mandate implementations, Audit support, SOC-1 participation
- Direct CAPPS experience
- PeopleSoft HCM Payroll 9.2 experience
- Texas state government experience
- Experience supporting 30+ agencies
- AWE administration experience
- Fiscal Year-End and Calendar Year-End processing experience
- Payroll tax and W-2 expertise
- CAPPS-SPRS synchronization knowledge
- Texas Comptroller environment experience
