About The Position

The Systems Analysis Consultant serves as a subject matter expert in technology products and platform features, applying and extending skills beyond formal role boundaries to support transformational healthcare improvement. The role works within an agile model and contributes to analysis and solution design across multiple systems and domains, ensuring that processes, integrations, and data flows align with enterprise standards.

The consultant partners with product stakeholders and engineering teams to understand business domains, recommend efficient and cost-effective implementations, and support development through user stories, acceptance criteria, testing, integration, and troubleshooting. The role also coaches analysts, develops reusable practices, supports governance and quality, and helps ensure security and compliance throughout development and deployment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or a high school diploma/GED plus four years of additional relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Seven years of prior relevant experience.
• Ability in one or more primary products, programs, or technologies.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and technical counterparts.
• Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills.
• Deep experience leading analysis and solution design across multiple systems and domains, including end-to-end process and data flows.
• Experience with software systems architecture concepts and integration patterns.
• Strong governance and quality discipline, including traceability, controls, and documentation, and the ability to manage risks and issues to closure.
• Complex systems knowledge and experience, preferably in payment systems, ERPs, financial transactional systems, high-volume operational transaction processing systems such as claims, enrollment, or billing, or system-to-system data exchanges and transformation.
• Database understanding and expert-level SQL querying skills.
• Understanding and experience with Agile methodology, Product Model, DevSecOps, and Agile tools.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-moving, rapidly evolving environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business-unit functions to determine system needs, integration requirements, and optimal use of information systems.
• Own analysis and solution design across multiple systems and domains for programs.
• Define end-to-end process, integration, and data flows aligned with enterprise standards.
• Define system integration test scenarios and drive their automation.
• Coach other analysts and scale reusable patterns, templates, and metrics.
• Prepare charts and flow diagrams to support problem analysis and submit solution recommendations.
• Provide analytical support and troubleshoot system-related issues.
• Work with product stakeholders and engineering teams to understand the business domain.
• Recommend efficient, cost-effective implementations, leveraging reusable features where possible.
• Understand, document, and communicate upstream and downstream dependencies for assigned development areas.
• Assist in creating, refining, and maintaining user stories, acceptance criteria, and related deliverables.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate new features and improvements.
• Ensure security and compliance standards are met throughout development and deployment.
• Lead regular system audits and implement necessary updates and patches.
