Systems Aerospace Engineer - Junior to Senior
About The Position
Perrygo is a small, rapidly growing company seeking a Systems Aerospace Engineer to support a Navy customer in the Pax River / Lexington Park, Maryland area. The role provides systems engineering support for aerospace projects, including requirements analysis, design, integration, and life-cycle activities. The position is pending a contract award. The role is primarily on-site at contractor or Government facilities. Telework may be available depending on assigned duties and company approval. Travel is less than 5%. Candidates may be considered at junior, journeyman, or senior level based on qualifying education and experience. A Secret clearance is required; an interim Secret clearance is acceptable, and candidates must be U.S. citizens. Certain senior assignments may require Top Secret clearance.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Secret clearance is required; interim Secret clearance is acceptable.
- Junior candidates: less than 3 years of experience related to the position’s duties.
- Journeyman candidates: 3 to 10 years of experience related to the position’s duties.
- Senior candidates: over 10 years of experience related to the position’s duties.
- Junior and journeyman candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- Senior candidates must have a master’s degree in engineering.
- Education and experience substitutions are not permitted.
Responsibilities
- Provide systems engineering support for aerospace projects.
- Support system requirements analysis, design, integration, and life-cycle activities.
- Maintain requirements documentation and traceability.
- Support technical assessments, trade studies, and engineering reviews.
- Prepare engineering documentation and coordinate technical inputs across disciplines.
