About The Position

Perrygo is seeking a Test Aerospace Engineer at the journeyman or senior level to support a Navy customer in the Pax River / Lexington Park, Maryland area. The role provides test engineering and evaluation support for aerospace projects, including support for planning, executing, and evaluating aerospace system tests. Candidates will be considered at the appropriate level based on qualifying education and experience; education and experience substitutions are not permitted.

The position is pending a contract award. Work is primarily on-site at contractor or Government facilities. Telework may be available depending on assigned duties and company approval. Travel is less than 5%. Applicants must be U.S. citizens and hold a Secret clearance; an interim Secret clearance is acceptable. Certain senior assignments may require Top Secret clearance.

Requirements

• Journeyman: 3 to 10 years of experience related to the position’s duties.
• Senior: over 10 years of experience related to the position’s duties.
• Journeyman: bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Senior: master’s degree in engineering.
• Education and experience substitutions are not permitted.
• Secret clearance required; interim Secret is acceptable.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Provide test engineering and evaluation support for aerospace projects.
• Support test planning, execution, and evaluation of aerospace systems.
• Develop and maintain test procedures, plans, and requirements traceability.
• Conduct or witness tests and document results against technical requirements.
• Coordinate test resources and recommend improvements to test methods.
