About The Position

Peraton is seeking a System Administrator to provide enterprise-focused engineering support to a government customer. You will provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems; provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems; and manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems. You will also provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems; provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems; provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.; provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers; and optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university and five (5) years’ experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
  • DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level I certification or higher is required.
  • Must have at least one (1) year of demonstrated experience in Modern operating systems and network architectures.
  • Must have at least one (1) year of demonstrated experience in certification and accreditation.
  • Must have at least one (1) year of demonstrated experience in Architecture development and design.
  • Must have at least one (1) year of demonstrated experience in Risk Assessments.
  • Must have at least one (1) year of demonstrated experience in IA Metrics gathering.
  • Ability to work independently and in groups to complete tasks bounded by constraints.
  • Position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
