About The Position

Are you a tech-savvy problem solver ready to lead the charge in optimizing warehouse operations? Join our team as a Systems Administrator, where you’ll take ownership of our Warehouse Management System (WMS), specifically PathGuide Technologies Latitude WMS. This is a highly visible, impactful role where your expertise will drive the success of our mission-critical systems in a dynamic and fast-paced distribution environment. You will also have the opportunity to travel domestically and internationally to oversee and enhance operations, up to 30% of the time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years Systems Administrator experience.
  • PathGuide Technologies Latitude WMS experience (essential).
  • SQL databases (administration and optimization).
  • Solid experience in high-availability environments, ensuring system reliability.
  • Deep skill in systems design, programming, and support for complex software solutions.
  • Crystal Reports for data analysis and reporting.
  • Familiarity with distribution processes like shipping, receiving, cycle counting, and inventory adjustments.
  • Proficient in SQL Server, programming languages, and operating systems.
  • Knowledge of enterprise backup, recovery procedures, and system monitoring tools.
  • Experience with Windows Server (2008 and later) and ERP systems (QAD preferred).
  • Knowledge of Dell Boomi and application development.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Pick programming is a plus.
  • Agile/Scrum experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the Latitude WMS to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance.
  • Utilize SQL expertise to monitor, maintain, and optimize database performance while ensuring data integrity.
  • Partner with project leads, developers, and IT teams to troubleshoot, enhance, and streamline system functionality.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors for system upgrades, firmware updates, and performance monitoring.
  • Develop comprehensive documentation and training materials to empower team members with the knowledge to excel.
  • Serve as the lead problem-solver for complex technical issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring seamless operations.
