About The Position

Join GDIT at the Joint Multinational Simulation Center - Indo Pacific, as a Systems Administrator and build an impactful career in enterprise IT, collaborating with people who are driven and resourceful like you. Assist in the administration, maintenance, and security of IT systems within restricted military enclave networks, while complying with stringent cybersecurity standards. Support the implementation and enforcement of security controls in alignment with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs). Assist in system hardening, patch management and vulnerability remediation to proactively protect IT systems against emerging cyber threats. Assist with managing Active Directory, user accounts, and group policies, ensuring access is restricted to authorized personnel. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and maintain high availability of critical IT infrastructure. Maintain accurate and comprehensive system documentation, including configurations, procedures, and incident reports. Participate in special projects and initiatives as required.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of related experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in System Administration and Support
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the associated hardware, software and equipment
  • Must meet DoD 8570 IAT II certification (SEC+)
  • Candidate must have or be able to obtain a certificate or certification meeting evolving computing environments
  • Must be able to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Must perform effectively with minimal guidance
  • Secret clearance required to start
  • US Citizenship Required

Nice To Haves

  • AS/AA in Computer Science or a related technical discipline is preferred, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experience
  • military and/or MTC experience preferred

Responsibilities
