Systems Administrator — Where Great Techs Take the Next Step

Bmore TechnologyNottingham, NH
$550,000 - $70,000Hybrid

About The Position

Bmore Technology is looking for a Systems Administrator to join our service team in White Marsh as our Level 2 escalation point. This role involves taking on complex problems, keeping client networks healthy, and helping the Level 1 team grow. The company, founded in 2004, is a managed IT services provider supporting businesses across the Baltimore region and the Myrtle Beach and Charleston areas of South Carolina. Their mission is to help businesses be more with technology that solves problems and makes an impact. The company culture is built on learning, ambition, vision, and integrity, with a focus on investing in employees and clients.

Requirements

  • Previous MSP or IT consulting experience — you’ll support many different clients with very different environments, and thriving in that variety is a skill of its own
  • 2–3 years of hands-on IT experience with multiple technical certifications (Microsoft, CompTIA, networking, or security)
  • Genuine comfort talking with clients — you can walk a non-technical person through a technical problem and make them feel taken care of
  • Advanced troubleshooting instincts — you’re the person others hand the hard tickets to
  • Organization, attention to detail, and self-motivation

Nice To Haves

  • A bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field is preferred — strong experience and certifications matter most

Responsibilities

  • Own the escalations — take on the complex technical problems our Level 1 team hands up, and see them through to resolution
  • Talk directly with clients — explain what’s happening in plain language and work toward solutions together
  • Keep client networks healthy — maintain network design and integrity, spot technical risks early, and drive down reactive tickets
  • Shape how we work — help build our Standards Library and contribute to incident-management best practices
  • Coordinate complex projects and mentor teammates along the way
  • Share the on-call rotation for after-hours support

Benefits

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage for full-time employees, plus telemedicine access and a Health Savings Account option
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company matching
  • Quarterly bonuses based on company profitability, plus additional end-of-year bonus opportunities
  • Paid time off and paid holidays
