About The Position

This role is responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining operating system workstations and servers, including web servers, to support business processing requirements. The position involves performing software installations and upgrades, monitoring and tuning systems for optimal performance, and ensuring data integrity and recoverability through backups and archives. Additionally, the role requires developing standard operating procedures, conducting audits for compliance, and maintaining a comprehensive configuration database and documentation.

Requirements

• 4yr Bachelors degree required
• TS clearance required to apply
• Minimum of 3 years of experience utilizing Figma and Angular to build and design UI/UX.
• Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining operating system workstations and servers, including web servers.
• Experience performing software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages.
• Experience scheduling installations and upgrades and maintaining them in accordance with established IT policies and procedures.
• Experience monitoring and tuning the system to achieve optimum performance levels.
• Experience ensuring workstation/server data integrity by evaluating, implementing, and managing appropriate software and hardware solutions.
• Experience ensuring data/media recoverability by implementing a schedule of system backups and database archive operations.
• Experience developing and promoting standard operating procedures.
• Experience conducting routine hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.
• Experience developing and maintaining a comprehensive operating system hardware and software configuration database/library of all supporting documentation.
