About The Position

EOA Technologies is seeking a Systems Administrator on one of our subcontracts. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to support a U.S. Government customer.

Requirements

• Possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance
• IAT Level 2 Certification
• Linux Systems Administration experience
• Patching and updating Linux distributions regarding security findings.
• Adding / Removing users and setting permissions to meet certain user privileges.
• System monitoring for health and status with monitoring tools like NAGIOS.
• Working with STIGs and fixing/updating vulnerabilities with STE/STN findings.
• Renew Linux server certificates and applying updates to TLS security versions.
• Experience working with ISSOs during SCA (security control assessment) testing to go through over 400 SCTM (security controls traceability matrix).
• Working with automation software such as ANSIBLE to streamline updates and patching.
• Updating documentation such as SOPs with problems and solutions for the team’s knowledge base on Confluence.
• Shall have a minimum of ten (10) years’ experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.

• Experience working with VMWARE is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems.
• Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring & problem resolution for all the client/server/storage/network devices, etc.
• Configure and manage Linux, Windows, and Unix operating systems, installs/loads operating system software and patches to maintain security compliance, troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementing operating system enhancements to improve reliability & performance.
• Support the design of systems, mission architecture, and associated hardware.
