About The Position

As part of the Secure the Enterprise initiative, the project aims to develop capabilities to transition from the current manual system security evaluation and authorization process to a new model. This new model will emphasize automation, streamlined processes and approvals, continuous monitoring and assessment, and network data gathering throughout the entire life cycle of a project. The Systems Administrator 2 will be instrumental in facilitating infrastructure management, continuous integration, environment configuration and deployment, and supporting the project’s compliance and security posture, with a primary focus on delivering automation to enable smooth operations for all other teams.

Requirements

TS/SCI with Polygraph
Strong experience in Linux system administration
Strong experience in Docker
Strong experience in AWS, C2S, or other cloud experience
Strong experience in GitLab Pipeline
Strong experience in Ansible Pipeline
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
10 years of experience as a SA in programs of similar scope

Nice To Haves

Elasticsearch
Cloud hosting and automation
Familiar with RMF

Responsibilities

Facilitate infrastructure management, continuous integration, environment configuration and deployment
Support the project’s compliance and security posture.
Focus on delivering the automation that enables all the other teams to operate smoothly.
Coordinates with the Help Desk to identify/resolve issues at a Tier 2 level.
