About The Position

Entarian is seeking a Systems Administrator to support the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific Space and Intelligence Systems (SIS) Division's capability to enhance Maritime Domain Awareness. This role involves executing daily support for various SeaVision environments (Operator, Analyst, Executive, Train-the-Trainer, and development), coordinating cross-team efforts for Test and Production sustainment, and troubleshooting complex hardware and software issues with minimal supervision. The position also includes performing computing environment build-outs, user training, installation, maintenance, and support with a strong emphasis on documentation. Additionally, the role requires support of Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS, on-call duties, server performance monitoring, capacity forecasting, and recommending upgrades.

Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Security clearance which requires US Citizenship.
  • Master’s level degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
  • Minimum 7 years professional experience in systems administration.
  • Minimum 2 years of system administrator experience with SeaVision.

Responsibilities

  • Execute CONUS and OCONUS daily support of SeaVision Operator, SeaVision Analyst, SeaVision Executive, SeaVision Train-the-Trainer and development environments
  • Coordinate cross-team for Test and Production sustainment to include, but not limited to operating system/software End of Life, Vulnerability remediation/reporting, ACAS/SCAP review/finding remediation, and Evaluate environments to determine if there are any opportunities for cost savings
  • Troubleshoot complex hardware and software problems, taking appropriate corrective action and/or interacting with IT staff or customers in performing dynamic testing, support and troubleshooting functions with little to no supervision
  • Perform complex computing environment build-outs, user training, installation, maintenance and support with emphasis on documentation of operating procedures and processes
  • Provide support of Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS, etc.
  • Provide on-call support and maintenance duties as required.
  • Monitor server performance/capacity, forecast system demands, recommend upgrades, expansions, and reconfigurations
