CACI is seeking a Systems Administrator II to perform system administration functions in support of a critical mission based in Fort Meade, MD. Requirements

Proficient with Linux.
Minimum of 3 years Linux system administration experience (within the last 3 years).
Experience with patching and upgrading Linux servers and networking resources.
VM experience.
Security+ cert.
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
7 years’ experience as a Systems Administrator in programs of similar scope, type, and complexity.
3 years of additional Systems Administration experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Nice To Haves

Working knowledge, able to use and or support, with some (preferably most) of the following resources and tools: Dell and HPE Linux servers, Juniper and Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls, Palo Alto firewalls, Ansible, Nutanix – VM management, Rubrik – data storage, Nomad containers, SALT scripts, LibreNMS, NetBox.

Responsibilities

Perform system administration functions.
Stand up, configure, and maintain Linux servers.
Monitoring and patching/upgrades to standard networking resources (routers, switches, firewalls).
Monitoring and patching/upgrades to servers and VM hardware.
Assist and incorporate security compliance controls as applicable.
Support documentation of non-applicable controls.
Assist with installation of new or replacement hardware or software.
Configure and integrate hardware or software with existing networked infrastructure.
Assist with decommission and/or removal of obsolete, excess, or replaced hardware.
Document inventory changes.
