About The Position

As a Systems Administrator II on the Tampa Enterprise IT Support team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our organization's IT infrastructure to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our systems and services. The Systems Administrator II is responsible for supporting day-to-day IT operations within a dynamic aerospace manufacturing environment. This role focuses heavily on end-user support for engineers and 3D printing administrators, while also maintaining core infrastructure services across Windows and Linux systems. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, this individual will serve as the primary on-site IT resource, ensuring reliable network connectivity, system performance, and responsive technical support in a production-focused environment. Regular and reliable attendance on a full time basis [or in accordance with posted schedule]. Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal and external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company's policies and practices. Requirements

  • At least 3 years of Tier 2+ Systems Administrator or Senior Level Experience
  • 3-5+ years' experience working in a Level 1 or higher support role.
  • Experience supporting Windows environments (Windows 10/11, Server) and basic Linux administration
  • Hands-on experience with Active Directory and Microsoft 365 administration
  • Office 365 Support and Management
  • Experience with networking equipment (managed switches, basic firewall concepts)
  • Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret DoD clearance, U.S. Citizenship required.

Nice To Haves

  • DoD or DIB contractor industry IT Support experience preferred but not required.
  • Experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or lab environment is strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on end-user support for engineering staff and 3D printing operations, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues
  • Administer and support Windows and Linux endpoints in a mixed environment
  • Maintain and troubleshoot local network infrastructure, including switches, VLANs, and connectivity issues
  • Support Active Directory and Microsoft 365 (GCC High) user lifecycle tasks, including onboarding, offboarding, and access management
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to printers, specialized manufacturing equipment, and engineering applications
  • Coordinate with centralized IT and cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with company policies and CMMC requirements
  • Perform routine system maintenance, patching, and updates using enterprise tools
  • Document issues, changes, and resolutions in the ticketing system
  • Act as the on-site escalation point for complex technical issues requiring local intervention
  • Ensure uptime and operational continuity in a production environment with minimal infrastructure footprint
