About The Position

We are hiring a Systems Administrator II/III to support a large-scale airport technology environment. This role is responsible for managing and maintaining enterprise infrastructure, including virtualization platforms, Windows and Linux servers, Active Directory, Azure services, storage systems, backups, middleware, and third-party applications. The ideal candidate will provide Tier 2/3 operational support, perform system maintenance, and assist with infrastructure lifecycle management to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of critical IT systems.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of experience supporting enterprise systems or infrastructure environments.
  • Proficiency with VMware virtualization, Windows Server, Linux administration, and enterprise directory services.
  • Experience managing Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and related identity components.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Experience with storage systems, backups, and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Ability to administer third-party enterprise applications and middleware platforms.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for Tier 2/3-level system issues.
  • Ability to follow established procedures, manage configurations, and maintain accurate technical documentation.

Nice To Haves

  • Industry certifications such as VCP, MCSA/MCSE, Linux+, or Azure Administrator are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Administer VMware hosts, virtual machines, and virtualization resources, including configuration, optimization, and routine maintenance.
  • Manage Windows and Linux servers, including patching, updates, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
  • Support Active Directory, Group Policy, identity services, and authentication integrations.
  • Administer Azure and other cloud-based services, including compute, storage, and identity components.
  • Provide system administration support for enterprise applications and middleware platforms.
  • Manage storage systems, shared storage environments, and backup and recovery operations.
  • Provide Tier 2/3 support for system incidents, service disruptions, and escalated technical issues.
  • Execute routine maintenance activities, including patching, lifecycle refreshes, and configuration updates.
  • Maintain system documentation, diagrams, inventories, and configuration baselines.
  • Assist with infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and deployment of new technologies.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
