About The Position

The Systems Administrator/Engineer will perform all systems integration work, system management and configuration, operation, testing, and reset of the Muscatatuck Training Center (MuTC) Advanced Cyber Center - Testing, Training, and Experimentation (MACC-TTE) virtual and physical environments. This includes configuring and deploying virtual and physical servers, workstations, and small processor-controlled devices, as well as operating, maintaining, and developing the infrastructure of the MACC-TTE environments and integrating them into a cohesive system. Assistance with information assurance (IA) requirements is also part of the role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Management, or related discipline
  • 7+ years of relevant experience
  • Minimum seven (7) years of experience as a Cyber Subject Matter Expert (SME) / Cyber Architect, or similar experience
  • Experience in designing and configuring computer networks including routing, switching, firewalls, DNS, active directory, VPNs, VLANs, SANs utilizing bare metal and virtualized systems
  • Experience with automation, provisioning, imaging, orchestration, and configuration management
  • Experience working with open-source software and have open-source platform experience with applications such as Ansible, Python, and other open-source applications
  • Experience with Cloud, Physical, and virtual network architect, engineering, and infrastructure monitoring
  • Experience with hypervisors such as VMware, Kernel-based Virtual Machine (KVM), and Xen
  • Experience with Windows enterprise and Linux server / operating systems engineering, and administration with knowledge of network vulnerabilities, attack vectors, and mitigation
  • Experience with a wide variety of technology to include camera systems, ICS/SCADA, Internet of Things (IoT), and RF devices
  • Must have Top Secret clearance, SCI eligible

Responsibilities

  • Perform all systems integration work, system management and configuration, operation, testing, and reset of the Muscatatuck Training Center (MuTC) Advanced Cyber Center - Testing, Training, and Experimentation (MACC-TTE) virtual and physical environments
  • Configure and deploy virtual and physical servers, workstations, and small processor-controlled devices within the MACC-TTE
  • Operate, maintain, and develop infrastructure of the MACC-TTE virtual and physical environments and integrate them into cohesive environment
  • Assist with information assurance (IA) requirements
