About The Position

We’re supporting the Florida Department of Revenue in hiring a Systems Administrator (Advanced) to support critical enterprise infrastructure and cloud environments. This is a hands-on role focused on Active Directory, Azure, and enterprise server operations supporting statewide systems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Active Directory administration
• 5+ years of cloud administration (Azure preferred)
• Strong understanding of Azure core services
• Experience supporting enterprise server environments

• PowerShell scripting
• DevOps concepts and SDLC exposure
• Virtual networking and security protocols
• Cost optimization and cloud efficiency

Responsibilities

• Manage and support Active Directory (AD) and enterprise Windows server environments
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical and operational issues across systems
• Maintain server lifecycle, performance, and availability
• Improve and automate AD domain functionality and processes
• Manage organizational units (OUs) and group policy structures
• Evaluate and recommend system and cloud improvements (Azure)
• Support cloud readiness initiatives across enterprise systems
• Provide documentation, reporting, and knowledge transfer to teams
