About The Position

Navitas Partners, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Administrator to support enterprise-level IT infrastructure, including Active Directory, file/print services, and server administration. This role involves working on complex and mission-critical systems, ensuring stability, security, and compliance across the environment. The position will begin fully onsite and transition into a hybrid schedule (2 days onsite per week). Candidates must be available to report onsite on the first day for equipment and onboarding.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Enterprise IT experience
  • 3+ years of Active Directory Administration
  • 3+ years of File Share / Print Server Management
  • 3+ years of Networking Fundamentals
  • 3+ years of Endpoint / Remote Support
  • 2+ years of Identity Provisioning tools (e.g., IAM systems)
  • 2+ years of Scripting experience (PowerShell, VBScript, etc.)
  • 2+ years of Microsoft 365 / Exchange administration
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Strong understanding of security best practices and policy adherence

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with enterprise identity and access management (IAM)
  • Prior experience in large-scale or government IT environments
  • Relevant certifications in Microsoft, IAM, or infrastructure technologies

Responsibilities

  • Administer and support enterprise Active Directory environments
  • Manage user accounts, security groups, and access provisioning
  • Configure and maintain Group Policies (GPOs) and domain controllers
  • Troubleshoot authentication and account-related issues
  • Support identity provisioning tools (e.g., account lifecycle, access requests, approvals)
  • Manage file shares, permissions, and access control
  • Monitor and maintain server storage and performance
  • Perform data recovery and restoration (including shadow copies)
  • Troubleshoot mapped drives and file access issues
  • Manage and maintain print servers and print queues
  • Configure and deploy network printers
  • Troubleshoot printer-related issues with users and vendors
  • Maintain printer drivers, firmware updates, and patching
  • Support printer management applications and inventory tracking
  • Design and implement infrastructure standards and best practices
  • Support disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives
  • Act as liaison with vendors and internal teams for issue resolution
  • Participate in special projects and continuous improvement efforts
  • Provide occasional after-hours support as needed
