About The Position

Iowa Bankers Association is seeking a Systems Administrator to join their IT Operations Team. This team supports the Association, Insurance, and Mortgage companies, focusing on customer service, reliability, and security. The Senior Systems Administrator will deploy and maintain enterprise-grade solutions, including M365, Azure, Windows Server, VMware, NetApp, Cisco, Dialpad, Fortinet, and enterprise security platforms. Responsibilities include day-to-day maintenance, leading new initiatives, developing policies and procedures, providing second-level help desk support, testing disaster recovery and business continuity plans, remediating security scans, ensuring compliance, and interacting with vendors. The position offers a good work/life balance with standard Monday-Friday hours, though flexibility for nights and weekends for updates/upgrades is needed.

Requirements

Associates or Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience)
5+ Years of Enterprise Network & Systems Administration Experience
Experience with Enterprise Software Solutions (ie… Windows Server, M365, Vmware)
Experience with Enterprise Hardware Solutions (ie… NetApp, Cisco)
Strong communications skills, both verbal and written
Must live, or be willing to relocate, to work on-site at Johnston location

Nice To Haves

Experience in vulnerability remediation
Experience providing second/third tier help desk support
Microsoft Certification(s)
