About The Position

We are responsible for the final layer of product validation, ensuring every release works as intended across real-world customer workflows and complex system configurations. Our team translates requirements into end-to-end user scenarios, uncovering risks and quality gaps that automated checks alone cannot detect, so teams ship with confidence. As a System Test Specialist, you will find creative and technically sophisticated ways to interactively exercise the product in medium-to-large setups that include hardware and virtual components, and hybrid environments spanning Windows, Linux, on-prem, and cloud-based deployments. We don’t believe automated tests and miniature setups are enough to identify software defects that real users might face; you will have to apply your critical thinking skills and patient craftsmanship to plan and execute meaningful tests that enable us to find major bugs before product delivery.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in software testing
  • Experience with different types of testing: functional, non-functional, integration, regression, end-to-end testing, etc.
  • Strong analytical skills applied to software testing, especially in troubleshooting and identifying root causes
  • Good sense of judgement and ability to prioritize work: when to further investigate a problem and when to put it aside; when to report a bug versus when to check-in with a developer or colleague; which tests or activities to prioritize; etc.
  • Ability to work in a fast-changing environment with shifting priorities
  • Ability to work autonomously, take initiative, and proactively pick-up new tasks or seek solutions when blocked.
  • Good written and verbal communication skill
  • Experience with Windows and Linux environments, including performance tools and system specifications
  • Experience with virtual machines and snapshot management
  • Fluent in French and English, both verbal and written (this role requires interaction with our international collaborators and customers)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with configuring camera units or access control devices
  • Experience with testing complex infrastructure. For example: front-end and back-end, or a distributed setup with multiple clients and multiple users, hybrid deployments across different operating systems
  • Knowledge of desktop, web, and mobile applications testing
  • Knowledge of cloud application testing and SaaS.
  • Knowledge of performance monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus/Grafana)
  • Knowledge of network disruption and latency tools
  • Basic knowledge in cybersecurity and of security best practices
  • Knowledge of Kanban methodology

Responsibilities

  • Validate the interoperability, robustness, and usability of the Security Center ecosystem in on-prem and/or cloud setups
  • Build and maintain complex test environments (made of virtual machines, simulators, physical machines, and other hardware components like video units and access control readers) that sufficiently replicate customer production systems
  • Analyze bugs, new features, and the testing performed by other teams to help define the scope of testing for System Test on different releases and setups
  • Prepare test plans with a focus on interoperability, robustness, and usability
  • Report bugs and improvements, and work with developers to reproduce specific scenarios

Benefits

  • Attractive compensation package
  • Training Tuition Reimbursement Program
  • Work-life balance with a flexible working schedule
  • Subsidized meals in our amazing Bistro (Les Cordons Bleus)
  • Free, unlimited coffee and fruits
  • Private, free parking for all employees
  • Access to relaxation spaces (pool table, gaming consoles, foosball, chess, etc.)
  • Onsite fitness facility with personal trainer, and multiple wellness and health workshops
