We are currently looking for a System Support Engineer to join our team.

Requirements

  • Proven, relevant experience in a similar or closely related role
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts, routing and switching, at a level equivalent to CCNA certification
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco hardware and Remote Access VPN solutions (Cisco ASA or Firepower)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL
  • Programming skills in Go or Python
  • Proficiency in Linux systems administration
  • Experience working with configuration management and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Puppet, Ansible, Terraform)
  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
  • Understanding of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Podman, Kubernetes)

Responsibilities

  • Manage the deployment and upkeep of internal network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless equipment
  • Install, configure, and maintain internal servers and services
  • Implement infrastructure changes and improvements
  • Plan and execute regular infrastructure maintenance to ensure system health and uptime
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues within the infrastructure at both hardware and software levels
